We bought Noah a digital camera for his birthday. It seemed like it was time, given what I’ve been finding on my camera lately:
May 22nd, 2010
We went to the Wake Up the Farm breakfast at Brookwood this morning – a sure sign that it is practically summer. Noah loved all of it – the trees to climb, the stumps to jump off of, the barn full of tractors, and of course, the pancakes. He tells me he plans to eat all of the food we bring home from the farm this year – I can’t wait to see that.
Tennis

Spring!
March 21st, 2010Noah discovered the crocus the other day and has been keeping a close eye on them. He is waiting, it seems, for honeybees to come and visit them, because he’d like them to make him some honey to spread on his bagels. No bees yet, but we’re still enjoying the warm weather and flowers.
Old King Cole
February 27th, 2010Noah was kind enough to provide us with a concert this morning, and we thought we’d share.
Grace
January 14th, 2010On the darkest nights, sometimes, the universe hands us a moment of grace when we know that someday, things will be all right.
We’re back!
December 24th, 2009Happy Halloween
October 30th, 2009Halloween with a two year old is very different than Halloween with a baby. Noah is very interested in costumes and candy this year, and has been talking about Halloween for weeks now. The actual holiday isn’t until tomorrow, but we’ve already quite a bit of Halloween fun.
This morning, Noah got to attend our on-campus parade with his class. He was very pleased to ride in the green stroller (not the brown one!) with his friends and to see the big kids in costume. He got to run around with his friends while they waited for the parade to start and then head back for a party in his classroom.
The most anticipated part of the day, however, came later when he took his much anticipated trip to ‘Dadda work’ for a little cubicle trick or treating. Pictures of him and the Man in the Yellow Hat visiting the office are coming soon!

Visiting the lion
October 12th, 2009A day on the farm
September 28th, 2009We went apple picking a few weekends ago, hoping getting to pluck his own fruit off the tree might inspire Noah to try some. He still won’t eat apples, but he really enjoyed the trip. We rode a train out to the orchard, picked apples and grapes, and got to check out a really neat playground.
