A few weekends ago, we went for a hike at Houghton’s Pond. For the first time, Noah actually hiked part of the way, although he did finish up riding on Nathan’s shoulders. Mostly, though, he wanted to see rocks thrown into the pond.

We took a walk around East Milton square after our ice coffee run and made our usual stop to gawk at the fire trucks. This time, however, some very sweet firemen noticed Noah’s admiration and invited him to come take a closer look.
A few weeks ago, we bought a bedframe at Ikea. This momentous purchase was supposed to catapult us into real adulthood and finally get our box spring and mattress off the floor. Unfortunatly for that plan, we forgot to buy the midbeam required for assembly. So tonight we were back at Ikea, land of the impulse buy. Good thing we had Noah along to lug all our finds.
